This Nurse 3 position serves the Mental Health Crisis Stabilization Unit at Shared Health - Melita Health Centre. The role requires recent nursing experience in crisis intervention, acute care psychiatry, or community psychiatric nursing. It also involves psycho/social assessment, co-occurring substance use and mental health disorders, community resources, and multidisciplinary collaboration.
Key Responsibilities: Provide nursing practice within the documented regulated scope
Apply crisis intervention and psycho/social assessment expertise
Support clients with co-occurring substance use and mental health disorders




Collaborate effectively within a multidisciplinary team
Use clinical judgment, leadership, and decision-making skills
Requirements: Three years of recent related nursing experience required
Graduate of an approved nursing or psychiatric nursing school
Registration or eligibility with CRNM or CRPNM
Robust oral and written English communication skills
Moderate to heavy lifting and restraining may be required
