This temporary CUPE union position supports general grounds maintenance, renovation, construction, and material delivery throughout the School District. The work includes skilled, semi-skilled, and manual tasks, with some independent judgment for routine problems. You will operate light vehicles, trailers, and tractor/backhoe equipment while following supervisor direction and safe work practices.

Key Responsibilities:

- Perform grounds maintenance, renovation, and construction tasks
- Operate vehicles, trailers, and tractor/backhoe equipment safely
- Maintain irrigation, drainage, paths, fields, fences, and playgrounds




- Transport and load materials, equipment, supplies, furniture, and mail
- Clean grounds, parking lots, walks, and pathways

Requirements:

- Minimum two years related landscape or horticulture experience
- One-year landscaping or horticulture certificate, or equivalent
- Valid British Columbia driver's licence
- Demonstrated secure driving record
- Grade 12 completion or equivalent
