Support mental health and wellness at YMCA Camp Pine Crest in Torrance, Ontario, with health monitoring, first aid, and medication administration.

The Mental Health Specialist supports staff, participants, and volunteers throughout the camp community. You will provide wellness resources, review health information, respond to first aid concerns, and support medical preparedness. This seasonal hourly contract requires availability six days weekly, including assigned days, evenings, overnights, weekends, and holidays.

Key Responsibilities:

- Provide health, wellness, and safety guidance to camp teams
- Review health forms and monitor information requiring special attention
- Conduct regular check-ins with campers, groups, and counsellors




- Respond to first aid situations and communicate with healthcare professionals
- Dispense medications according to camper health forms

Requirements:

- First Aid and CPR certification meeting applicable requirements
- Mental Health First Aid certification
- Valid driver’s licence
- Experience working with children, preferably in health and wellness
- Solid interpersonal, communication, and relationship-building skills
