Operate safely on rotating 12-hour shifts as a General Help/OffBearer at Hood Packaging’s Calgary plastic plant. Support packaging and production flow.
This permanent full time position manages finished bags from the Robotics line and packages products according to customer requirements. The General Help/OffBearer supports the Machine Operator, maintains product quality and quantity, and helps minimize production stoppages. The work requires safety awareness, housekeeping, and adherence to food, safety, and quality procedures. Shifts rotate across days and nights, including every other weekend.
Key Responsibilities: Package finished products according to customer requirements
Manage finished bags from the Robotics line




Assist the Machine Operator with equipment operation
Maintain product quality and packaged quantities
Keep the work area clean continuously
Requirements: Read and understand Job Safety Analysis documents
Follow equipment safety features and start-up signals
Read, understand, and follow Quality System Procedures
Demonstrate good attendance and good colour vision
Work rotating 12-hour continental shifts
Bring safe work practices, packaging accuracy, and production support skills to Hood Packaging’s Calgary manufacturing operation.
