Lead agronomic training and AgZone FIELD adoption while supporting Co-op Ag teams across Alberta through a remote Technical Agronomist position.
Federated Co-operatives Limited seeks a permanent full time Technical Agronomist for its Ag Solutions team. You will strengthen product confidence, decision making, and agronomic services through virtual, in-person, print, and in-field training. The position also provides technical escalation support and field validation.
Key Responsibilities: Train local Co-op Ag teams across multiple delivery formats
Enable consistent AgZone FIELD use in agronomic services
Partner with commodity managers and Senior Retail Agronomists
Provide technical escalation and agronomic business guidance
Travel within the territory two to three days weekly
Requirements: Relevant progressively responsible experience of six to nine years
Five years of field agronomy experience preferred
Bachelor’s degree of Science in Agriculture
Master of Science degree preferred by FCL
CCA or PAg designation is an asset
Bring field agronomy experience, training capability, and AgZone FIELD knowledge to strengthen technical services for Western Canadian Co-ops.
