Based 120 kilometres outside Medicine Hat, Alberta, this two-year contract requires a skilled Journeyman Millwright. You will maintain rotating and stationary equipment, investigate mechanical issues, and complete repairs supporting reliable operations. The position emphasizes safe work practices, precise documentation, technical drawing interpretation, and effective coordination with operations, maintenance, and contractors. Candidates need a valid Journeyman Millwright ticket, five years of gas plant operations experience, and demonstrated industrial equipment maintenance experience. Respiratory protective equipment, pre-employment medical testing, drug and alcohol testing, and ongoing policy compliance apply.
Key Responsibilities: Maintain rotating and stationary industrial mechanical equipment




Execute corrective and preventive maintenance activities
Use tools, measuring instruments, and rigging equipment safely
Document equipment condition, work status, and follow-up needs
Follow environmental, regulatory, permit, and lockout requirements
Requirements: Five or more years in gas plant operations
Valid Journeyman Millwright certification
Mechanical troubleshooting and practical problem-solving ability
Ability to read technical drawings and equipment specifications
Solid communication, organization, and documentation skills
