Support RME equipment service in Red Deer through diagnostics, repairs, and inspections as a permanent full time Lead Hand Technician.
Reporting to the Service Sales Manager, this Lead Hand Technician helps keep parts and machinery properly functioning. RME serves agriculture, construction, rental, and recreational markets through its equipment dealer network. The position requires a registered Journeyman Heavy Equipment Technician and practical problem-solving skills.
Key Responsibilities: Inspect equipment and diagnose faults or malfunctions
Replace defective parts and adjust equipment
Perform equipment updates and seasonal inspections
Complete pre-season delivery inspections
Record technician notes in the computer
Requirements: Registered Journeyman Heavy Equipment Technician
Ability to work with minimal supervision
Fluent English language skills
Strong problem-solving skills
CASE and New Holland equipment experience is an asset
Bring heavy equipment diagnosis, repair, and documentation skills to RME’s Red Deer Service team as Lead Hand Technician.
