CPC Pumps is hiring a Test Technician (Engineering) to plan testing activities and support centrifugal pump performance work. The position requires mechanical aptitude, troubleshooting ability, and comfort interpreting engineering documentation. You will collaborate with shop test, hydraulics, production, and engineering teams while working safely on the shop floor.
Key Responsibilities: Coordinate testing schedules with production and engineering
Set up and complete centrifugal pump performance tests
Work with shop employees on test stand operation
Troubleshoot equipment and testing issues
Generate curves for hydraulics manager processing
Requirements: Mechanical engineering degree preferred or technologist diploma
Experience with rotating equipment from one to five years
Understand engineering and sectional pump drawings
Work safely around industrial equipment and noise
Wear required personal protective equipment on shop floor
Use rotating equipment experience, pump testing, and industrial troubleshooting skills to support CPC Pumps’ engineering testing work.
