Reporting to the VP Finance, the Accountant oversees accounting transactions and supports financial and business operations. Core work includes internal controls, regulatory compliance, audit preparation, tax filings, and balance sheet support. The successful candidate brings progressive accounting experience and collaborates with senior executives and operational management.
Key Responsibilities: Oversee transactions and maintain accurate financial records
Ensure compliance with policies, standards, and regulations
Maintain fixed asset and balance sheet accounting records
Prepare audit papers and coordinate stakeholder deadlines
Recommend process improvements and stronger internal controls
Requirements: Minimum five years of progressive accounting experience
Experience supporting annual audits and external auditors
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
Ability to manage priorities under tight deadlines
Solid communication skills with senior leaders and departments
