BC Assessment is seeking a permanent Paralegal to support property assessment work and organizational decision-making. The position involves coordinating yearly Assessor appeals to the Property Assessment Appeal Board, contacting legal representatives, and maintaining files. You will also assist with general legal questions and regulatory updates.
Key Responsibilities: Coordinate and submit yearly Assessor appeals to PAAB
Contact contracted legal representatives regarding varied issues
Set up and maintain applicable legal files




Update and review legislated-property regulations annually
File responses to general legal questions
Requirements: Secondary school graduation and recognized Paralegal Certificate
Two years’ experience in a legal office
Or two-year Paralegal Diploma with one year’s experience
Or four-year university degree with paralegal experience
Solid organization and service-focused professional approach
Use your appeals coordination, regulatory review, and file management experience supporting BC Assessment’s Vancouver office.
