Reporting to the Camp Manager, this position supports geological and geophysical programs through core cutting and fieldsite participation. The work includes safety practices, PPE readiness, housekeeping, incident reporting, and daily coordination. Candidates need drill core cutting experience, physical stamina, and explicit English communication.
Key Responsibilities: Perform drill core cutting for various MATRIX projects
Support geological and geophysical programs in the field
Participate in orientations, Toolbox meetings, and Mock Medivacs
Maintain housekeeping, PPE readiness, and worksite safety
Submit timesheets and report incidents to the Camp Manager
Requirements: Minimum one year working in drill core cutting
Experience operating chainsaws for tree falling requirements
Solid verbal and written English communication skills
Ability to work rotation schedules and independently
Ability to lift 50 pounds and sustain physical shifts
Bring drill core cutting experience, chainsaw operation, and safe work practices to MATRIX field projects and camp operations.
