Fraser Health’s Registered Nurse delivers comprehensive care by assessing patients, identifying nursing diagnoses, implementing interventions, and evaluating results. You collaborate with the interprofessional care team and communicate with families and caregivers about illness prevention, health restoration, self-care, and discharge needs. The position also includes documentation, referrals, mentoring, and qualified learning.
Key Responsibilities: Identify patient conditions and determine appropriate nursing interventions
Update care plans and communicate changes affecting discharge
Provide demonstrations and information supporting patient self-care




Initiate referrals with interprofessional and community health agencies
Maintain clinical competence through education and learning goals
Requirements: Graduation from an approved School of Nursing
Current practicing registration as a Registered Nurse with BCCNM
Ability to teach patients and families essential healthcare information
Ability to prioritize work and promote team cooperation
Ability to use research-informed principles in nursing decisions
Use clinical assessment, teaching, documentation, and evidence-informed practice to advance patient-centered care as a Fraser Health Registered Nurse.
