The Commodity Inspector 2 position centers on vessel loading supervision and commodity sampling. You will inspect railcars and containers under CFIA standards, then prepare samples for analytical testing. Success also requires English communication, literacy, numeracy, teamwork, and shift work availability.
Key Responsibilities: Provide oversight during vessel loading activities
Identify quality and cargo defects during supervision
Sample railcars and containers under CFIA standards
Prepare samples using accepted industry standards
Maintain PPE and follow terminal safety requirements
Requirements: Inspection, Testing and Certification industry experience
Robust English communication, literacy, and numeracy skills
Ability to work effectively as part of a team
Availability for shift work
