Support safer home living with ParaMed as a Health Care Aide in Edmonton, providing personal care and daily living assistance. This is a full-time position.
As a Health Care Aide, you will visit patients in their residences and support self-care activities. Your work includes meal preparation, housekeeping, companionship, personal hygiene, and basic daily activities. ParaMed provides home health care services across Canada.
Key Responsibilities: Travel between patients and complete several home visits daily
Prepare meals and assist during mealtimes
Complete basic housekeeping duties in patients' homes
Provide companionship and support patient well-being
Assist with hygiene care, bathing, and daily activities
Requirements: Graduate from a Government of Alberta-approved HCA program
Willingness to visit residences within a designated area
Compassionate listening and robust communication skills
Ability to work every other weekend
Successful criminal background screening upon hire
Bring compassionate personal care, communication, and daily living support to patients receiving ParaMed services throughout Edmonton homes.
