Registered Sonographer for a growing Edmonton imaging clinic. Saturdays 9-2, $50-$60/hr plus benefits, with optional weekday hours.
02nd November, 2026 Sonographer | Saturday Shifts, Flexible Part-Time | Edmonton This role may also be known as: Diagnostic Medical Sonographer, Ultrasound Technologist, Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer, Ultrasound Sonographer
Registered Sonographer, Saturdays 9 to 2, $50 to $60/hr with benefits, in a growing Edmonton imaging clinic.
Saturday-only schedules welcome, with optional weekday hours on your terms.
$50 to $60 per hour plus health, dental, insurance, vacation, and an education allowance.
Four fully booked ultrasound rooms and a fifth just opened, so the work is there.
What if your next role fit around your life instead of the other way around?
A physician-led diagnostic imaging clinic in Edmonton is growing fast. Its four ultrasound rooms are fully booked, a fifth room has just opened, and it needs a registered Sonographer who can commit to Saturdays from 9:00 AM to 2:00 PM. You can work Saturdays only. You can also start part-time and build toward more weekday hours as the clinic grows.
This is a clinic built on high-quality, timely, compassionate imaging, where both patients and referring physicians get an exceptional experience. You will do meaningful diagnostic work in a busy, well-run outpatient setting, with fair pay and a schedule you control.
Why This Opportunity Is Different Most part-time sonography roles offer hours and little else. This one comes with health and dental advantages, insurance benefits, vacation, and an education and professional development allowance. You will work closely with the reading radiologists in a small, collaborative team, inside a multi-modality clinic offering ultrasound, X-ray, fluoroscopy, bone mineral density, pain management, and breast imaging.
Because the clinic has just added a fifth ultrasound room,
more hours are available whenever you want them, and you will be part of a team that is growing rather than standing still.
What You'll Be Doing Delivering accurate diagnostic ultrasound examinations that radiologists can rely on.
Producing high-quality diagnostic images in line with established protocols.
Preparing patients and explaining each procedure clearly and compassionately.
Protecting patient safety, privacy, and comfort from check-in to the final image.
Keeping patient documentation and imaging records accurate and complete.
Working hand in hand with radiologists and other healthcare professionals.
Operating and caring for ultrasound equipment so it performs at its best.
Upholding clinical, safety, and quality standards on every exam.
What We're Looking For Graduate of an accredited Diagnostic Medical Sonography program.
Registered with Sonography Canada (required).
Registered with ACMDTT (required).
Legally authorized to work in Canada.
Strong knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and ultrasound procedures.
Proficiency with ultrasound equipment and imaging systems.
Excellent communication and patient-care skills, and the ability to work both independently and collaboratively.
At least one year of clinical ultrasound experience is a strong asset.
MSK ultrasound experience, vascular credentialing or experience (including arterial and upper-extremity studies), and busy outpatient diagnostic imaging experience are all assets.
Compensation & Work Model $50 to $60 per hour, depending on experience.
Health and dental benefits, insurance benefits, vacation, and an education and professional development allowance.
Permanent part-time or casual, fully onsite.
