This Health Care Aide role focuses on knowing residents by name and story while supporting fulfilling daily lives. You will work with residents, families, visitors, and the wider Long Term Care team. Your care includes personal support, mobility access, social and emotional encouragement, and services aligned with individual plans.
Key Responsibilities: Follow individual care plans for residents’ daily living activities
Provide personal hygiene, grooming, dressing, and eating assistance
Support ongoing cognitive, social, emotional, and spiritual well-being




Provide oral and dental care to residents
Promote resident comfort, dignity, respect, and participation
Requirements: Health Care Aide program completed at an approved college
Detailed approach to treatment procedures and bedside care
Compassionate commitment to helping seniors live fully
Tactful, diplomatic communication with families and visitors
Ability to pass a Vulnerable Sector Check
Use your resident care training and compassionate approach to support seniors’ dignity, comfort, and connections in Fort Saskatchewan.
