Terraceview Lodge seeks a Licensed Practical Nurse skilled in compassionate patient care, assessments, and client and family centered care. Work collaboratively within Northern Health’s care model.
This Licensed Practical Nurse delivers care under a Clinical Supervisor or designate. The position applies the Nursing Process, follows BCCNM standards, and collaborates with multidisciplinary teams. The LPN supports clients and families while coordinating care according to organizational policies and protocols.
Key Responsibilities: Perform assessments and plan individualized nursing care
Provide compassionate care to clients and families
Apply the Nursing Process within established standards
Recognize changes in clients and initiate care plans
Provide direction and share knowledge with staff
Requirements: Current practicing LPN registration with BCCNM
One year of recent related acute care experience
Effective verbal and written communication skills
Ability to organize, prioritize, and work independently
Ability to operate equipment and relevant computer applications
Bring nursing assessment, care planning, and cooperative practice to clients and families at Terraceview Lodge.
