Provide resident care as a casual Health Care Aide at AgeCare South Terrace in Edmonton, using safe transfers and personal care skills. Work under Staff Nurse supervision while supporting residents’ comfort and well-being.
This Health Care Aide works within the care team to meet individual resident needs. The position includes bathing, feeding assistance, routine treatments, mobility support, and accompaniment to activities. Employment is casual at AgeCare South Terrace, located at 5905 112 Street NW.
Key Responsibilities: Bath, shower, and wash residents following care procedures
Assist transfers using lifts, belts, and protective controls
Feed residents according to care plan diets
Provide routine treatments under Staff Nurse direction
Accompany residents to meals, therapies, and activities
Requirements: Recognized PCA or HCA 2002 certificate or equivalent education
Active CLHA registration
Fluent English communication, orally and in writing
One year of continuing care experience preferred
Post-secondary education considered an asset
Bring personal care, secure mobility assistance, and compassionate resident support to AgeCare South Terrace in Edmonton.
