Deliver evidence-informed emergency care as a Registered Nurse at St. Joseph’s Healthcare Hamilton’s Charlton Campus in part time rotating shifts.
This Registered Nurse provides patient-centred care for complex, high-acuity patients with less predictable outcomes. The position requires emergency nursing experience, clinical judgment, and collaboration with interdisciplinary teams. Care includes adult, child, and psychiatric presentations within a busy emergency department serving Hamilton and surrounding communities.
Key Responsibilities: Provide comprehensive patient-centred emergency nursing care
Assess needs and support therapeutic treatment
Collaborate with inter-professional teams
Lead care for complex and high-acuity patients




Work under authorized Medical Directives when required
Requirements: Current College of Nurses of Ontario registration
Current BCLS/HCP certification
Recent related emergency nursing experience required
Adult, child, and psychiatric care management experience
Strong communication, prioritization, and critical-thinking skills
