Gordon Food Service is hiring a Local Class 1 Delivery Driver for full time day shifts. The schedule starts between 3AM and 7AM, Monday through Saturday, four days per week. This position combines vehicle inspections, reefer monitoring, product handling, and customer-facing delivery service.
Key Responsibilities: Perform daily pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections
Operate delivery vans and tractor-trailer commercial vehicles
Use hand trucks to move customer products safely
Complete Sales Service functions by the ninetieth day
Manage registers, credits, pickups, and related paperwork
Requirements: Valid Class 1 License
Ability to operate a two-wheeled hand truck
Ability to handle loads up to 350 pounds
Ability to handle products averaging 50 pounds
Ability to work Monday through Saturday schedules
