This full-time, 12-month contract Art Director shapes strategy, finds the big idea, and leads creative teams across digital and print. You will collaborate with the Creative Director and account team on work for brands including Boston Pizza, Canada Soccer, the Toronto Blue Jays, and the Boston Red Sox. The role combines client presentations, pitch concepts, RFP responses, campaign development, and creative management. It suits an experienced designer who can connect business goals with audience insight and compelling ideas. Kidzsmart’s work includes play-driven learning experiences, immersive activations, digital content, publishing, and e-commerce properties for kids and families.
Key Responsibilities: Translate client briefs into creative strategies and channel plans




Develop pitch concepts, RFP responses, and presentation decks
Review campaign results and inform subsequent creative ideas
Build client brand systems and campaign toolkits
Create concepts, key visuals, and layouts when needed
Requirements: Five or more years leading campaigns and creative teams
Strategic ability connecting business goals, insights, and ideas
Solid graphic design experience from sketch to key visual
Digital channel knowledge and practical print production understanding
Experience with designers, freelancers, timelines, and budgets
Use strategic creativity, client presentation confidence, and campaign leadership to shape Kidzsmart work for children and families.
