Coordinate exterior finishing work for Echelon Exteriors in Nanaimo, applying leadership, siding knowledge, and protected tool operation. This full time opportunity supports projects across Vancouver Island, interior BC, and Calgary.
The Foreman works with industry specialists while managing installation quality and daily site activity. Responsibilities span siding materials, doors, windows, scaffolding, equipment, progress logs, safety paperwork, and reporting. Crew management and junior employee development are also central to successful performance.
Key Responsibilities:
Communicate effectively with team members and represent Echelon professionally
Operate and maintain tools and equipment safely
Set up scaffolding for exterior finishing work
Complete daily progress, safety, and equipment paperwork
Perform caulking and paint touch-ups
Requirements:
Experience with door and window installations
Proficiency with hand and power tools
Knowledge of work-site safety procedures
Ability to work at heights, bend, and lift materials
Construction management software proficiency for reporting
