In this Airport Operations Manager - Terminal position, you will coordinate activity across boarding gates, check-in counters, and checkpoint areas. You will supervise unionized personnel, respect collective agreements, and encourage accountability through coaching and feedback. You will also monitor on-time performance, resolve operational issues, and represent Air Canada's commitment to a warm welcome during irregular operations.
Key Responsibilities:
Supervise operational processes supporting on-time performance
Brief team members on recent standard operating procedures
De-escalate passenger situations and provide secure service
Audit safety, SOP, and service-standard compliance
Coordinate activities during operational irregularities
Requirements:
Minimum post-secondary diploma or equivalent experience
Two years of leadership or equivalent operational experience
Ability to solve problems under high stress
Excellent oral, written, and interpersonal communication
Ability to adapt to unpredictable task changes
