Build custom wall panels and truss components with Structural Truss Systems in Fort Macleod, Alberta, using hand tools and layout designs.
This permanent, full-time Builder position supports the Truss Plant, Wall Shop, and Floor Cassettes. You will assemble walls accurately while reviewing layouts and pre-cut lumber. The work also includes maintaining organized workstations, supporting secure production, and helping the shop run smoothly.
Key Responsibilities: Assemble walls according to layouts and instructions
Review wall layouts and inspect pre-cut lumber
Use hand tools and power tools during builds
Maintain clean, organized workstations and dispose of waste
Perform maintenance and report tool or machine issues
Requirements: Ability to read and understand truss layout designs
Experience using basic hand tools and power tools
Basic math and imperial and metric measuring skills
Ability to lift, push, and pull up to 50 pounds repeatedly
Strong work ethic and willingness to work collaboratively
Bring layout reading, tool use, and safe physical work skills to Structural Truss Systems’ Fort Macleod manufacturing facility.
