Equinox Gold is seeking an LHDB Miner for its Underground Mining team at Musselwhite. The combined assignment includes Long Hole Drilling, Loading, and Cablebolting, with cross-training and development available. Your work contributes to safe, productive Drill and Blast operations during a 14-days-on, 14-days-off schedule.
Key Responsibilities:
Operate Long Hole Drill and Cablebolter equipment accurately
Install cable and complete slot raise and drop raise work
Support loading, grouting, blasting, and hole cleaning
Take timely direction from Drill and Blast supervisors
Maintain assigned equipment and follow workplace procedures
Requirements:
One to five years of underground mining experience
Experience operating heavy machinery is relevant
Ontario Basic Common Core is required
Ability to read and interpret engineering prints
Solid communication and collaborative teamwork skills
