This existing position manages specimen collection from greeting patients through specimen preparation for transportation. You will explain test protocols, perform phlebotomies, and support accurate patient information processing. The work includes patient service, special collections, and related documentation.

Key Responsibilities:

- Greet patients and request required information
- Explain collection processes and confirm test protocol compliance
- Perform phlebotomies, Holter monitor connections, and ECG tracings
- Complete special collections and related documentation
- Prepare specimens and enter required patient data

Requirements:

- Approved Laboratory Assistant program graduate preferred
- Phlebotomy experience considered an asset
- Excellent communication and patient service skills
- Computer skills with minimum forty words per minute typing
- Flexibility for Monday through Saturday shifts
