Support residents and catering guests as a Dietary Aide at Providence Manor, delivering meal service, food storage, and dining room support in Kingston. This part time position exceeds 30 hours biweekly.
Working in long-term care, the Dietary Aide follows established standards for safe food service and appealing meals. The position includes transporting food carts, setting dining tables, portioning items, and maintaining clean equipment and storage areas. Providence Manor provides specialized care for dementia and veterans.
Key Responsibilities: Transport food carts and catering wagons to designated areas
Set up and clear assigned dining room tables
Partition food into appropriate portion sizes
Assist meal service for residents, staff, and guests
Complete assigned cleaning duties and dishwashing
Requirements: Understand and follow written instructions in English
Understand and follow oral instructions in English
Complete approved Food Service Worker training or enrol
Complete Food Handler’s Course every five years
Previous long-term care experience is an asset
