Rockyview General Hospital seeks a Therapy Assistant for Allied Health, supporting patient and family centred rehabilitation in Calgary’s acute care workplace.
This Therapy Assistant position serves medical, surgical, sub-acute, and recreation therapy caseloads at a metropolitan hospital. You will work individually and within interprofessional teams under several regulated therapy disciplines. The position requires adaptability, strong interpersonal skills, time management, professional initiative, and autonomous critical thinking. Weekend and evening coverage is expected across the Therapy Assistant team.
Key Responsibilities: Support rehabilitation services across the health care continuum
Provide client care and non-client service activities
Apply interpersonal and clinical skills to care teams




Demonstrate reflective thinking and lifelong learning
Participate in quality improvement and student supervision
Requirements: Rehabilitation Therapy Assistant diploma or equivalent training
Current Basic Life Support Provider Heart and Stroke certificate
Six months experience in urban adult acute care
Arthroplasty Discharge Program experience
Modified barium swallow or fiberoptic evaluation experience
Use rehabilitation expertise, reflective practice, and patient-centred teamwork while supporting diverse acute care services at Rockyview General Hospital.
