Deliver professional front desk support at Haven Toronto, greeting clients, handling inquiries, and coordinating appointments across community programs. Casual shifts are scheduled as required.
This Support Care Worker works with a multidisciplinary team serving individuals facing homelessness, substance use, mental health challenges, and complex social needs. You will complete registrations, coordinate referrals, document client interactions, and support access to essential on-site services. Available programs include Haven Drop-In, Our Place Community of Hope, and Hospital Overflow.
Key Responsibilities: Handle phone inquiries and welcome clients professionally
Schedule appointments and coordinate referrals with providers
Consult colleagues to support coordinated client care




Complete hourly safety and security checks
Assist with food, donations, supplies, and inventory
Requirements: Post-secondary diploma in Social Services, Addictions, Recreation, or Mental Health
Knowledge of downtown Toronto social resources
Strong communication, interpersonal, and documentation abilities
Awareness of harm reduction and mental health issues
Valid First Aid and CPR
