Build a career, not just a job. At Intelliflex, you'll work with people who take pride in doing things right, support each other, and help you grow every step of the way.
About the Role Intelliflex / CES Corporation designs and manufactures modular, factory-built infrastructure solutions supporting data centers, AI, high-performance computing (HPC), cloud, and other mission-critical applications. Our team brings together engineering, manufacturing, construction, and project expertise to help customers accelerate deployment, manage project risk, and deliver reliable infrastructure solutions.
As our business continues to grow, we are committed to building strong teams, developing our people, and continually improving how we design, manufacture, and deliver our solutions.
Key Responsibilities Produce detailed 3D models and associated 2D drawings for mechanical assemblies, enclosures, cooling systems, and structural frames.
Own structural design decisions and be able to explain and defend them in design review — the reasoning behind dimensioning, tolerancing, material, and assembly choices, not just the output.
Verify space tightness and correctness across the full hardware distribution — confirming mechanical, electrical, and automation components fit and clear as designed, not just as drawn.
Work alongside the team's thermal/airflow analysis engineer and senior drafter, coordinating with (not duplicating) their scope while adding the structural rigor the team currently lacks.
Support engineering change orders and BOM releases with accurate, up-to-date drawing packages.
Coordinate with Manufacturing on design-for-manufacturability feedback during the drawing process.

Required Skills & Qualifications Proven ability to produce detailed, production-ready 3D models and drawings — not concept-level sketches.
Ability to own and defend structural design decisions when questioned in a design review — clear reasoning behind dimensioning, tolerancing, material, and assembly choices.
Experience verifying physical fit and clearance across a multi-discipline hardware layout (mechanical, electrical, automation), not just producing drawings in isolation.
Proficiency with modern 3D CAD tools and standard drafting/documentation conventions.
Professional registration with APEGA (Association of Professional Engineers and Geoscientists of Alberta), or eligibility to register.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience designing enclosures, cooling systems, or structural frames for industrial or datacenter equipment.
Experience coordinating directly with analysis engineers (thermal, structural) and a drafting team sharing CAD standards.
Exposure to FEA/CFD-informed design, even if not performing the analysis directly.
What We Offer At Intelliflex, you’ll have the chance to be part of a growing company at the forefront of modular data center infrastructure. We offer a collaborative, team-oriented work environment where innovation, continuous improvement, and qualified growth are encouraged. You’ll contribute to meaningful projects supporting the rapidly expanding AI and data center industry while working alongside a team committed to quality, safety, and delivering exceptional results.
As well as:
Competitive compensation
Health and dental benefits
Opportunities for career advancement
Training and professional development
A collaborative and supportive team environment
