This regular Technician/Designer position supports engineering projects in the mining, hydropower and heavy industry sectors. You’ll help select technology, implement projects and maintain technical quality throughout engineering phases. You’ll also plan project criteria, manage standards and help ensure resources support assigned mandates.
Key Responsibilities: Design piping systems and create isometric drawings
Plan, organize and manage project criteria and standards
Determine costs and quantities for client requirements
Coordinate project scheduling, budgeting and tracking
Perform technical functions supporting project delivery
Requirements: College diploma in mechanical engineering or relevant field
Five or more years of relevant experience
Experience in mining and metals or heavy industry
Solid AutoCAD, CADWorx, SolidWorks and Navisworks skills
Good SmartPlant knowledge is an asset
Apply CAD and industrial piping capabilities while coordinating standards, quantities and deliverables across BBA’s engineering projects.
