Support GGA-Architecture’s architectural projects through contract administration, construction documentation, and stakeholder communication from Calgary. Robust organization and leadership are central to this work.
This Intermediate/Senior position reports to the Managing Director of Projects within a multidisciplinary architecture firm. You will administer projects, answer contractor questions, review contract conditions, and communicate with project teams throughout construction. The position requires an excellent record of project success in an architectural workplace, plus the ability to mentor junior staff.
Key Responsibilities:
Communicate daily with project managers, designers, inspectors, and contractors
Explain contract conditions and details to project stakeholders
Generate administration documents for contractor issuance
Review substantial performance requests and respond when necessary
Coordinate as-built drawings and project closeout requirements
Requirements:
At least five years in a contract administration role
Architectural setting experience and project success
Ability to mentor and motivate junior staff
Excellent English written and verbal communication skills
Architectural Technology diploma considered an asset
Use architectural contract administration experience, communication, and leadership to help GGA-Architecture deliver successful construction projects.
