This Financial Planner position develops and deepens relationships within the mass affluent market. You will provide investment and financial planning advice, identify prospects, and establish business development opportunities. Your work will follow Global Sales Principles, compliance requirements, and a collective Scotiabank framework.
Key Responsibilities:
Drive investment sales and acquire recent clients
Identify referrals and investment solutions for client needs
Contact prospects proactively to develop future opportunities
Deliver community information sessions and financial seminars
Manage independent marketing activities within a small budget
Requirements:
Three years in financial planning and investment sales
Investments Funds in Canada or Canadian Securities Course
Personal Financial Planning or Certified Financial Planner designation
Experience building and maintaining Centres of Influence
Knowledge of market trends and regulatory requirements
Use investment expertise, compliant financial planning, and networking skills to grow Scotiabank's Alberta client relationships virtually.
