Provide critical care nursing at Lakeridge Health Oshawa, using ventilator monitoring and haemodynamic assessment. This regular part time position includes 12-hour shifts.
The Registered Nurse works in the ICU/CCU within Lakeridge Health’s Critical Care program. You will use the nursing process, participate in the multidisciplinary care team, maintain competence and professionalism, and maintain nursing records. The schedule includes days, nights, and weekends, subject to change.
Key Responsibilities: Provide patient care using the nursing process
Participate as a multidisciplinary care team member
Maintain competence and professionalism in current practice
Maintain accurate nursing records
Perform other related duties as assigned
Requirements: Complete a Critical Care Nursing Certificate
Hold College of Nurses of Ontario registration
Maintain current Heart and Stroke Foundation BLS certification
Demonstrate ventilator, haemodynamic monitoring, and EKG interpretation skills
Manage emergencies, patient transfers, and physical care requirements
Bring critical care nursing, clinical monitoring, communication, and patient-care skills to Lakeridge Health’s ICU/CCU team in Oshawa.
