Design stormwater systems and manage servicing studies for land development projects throughout planning, draft plan, and detailed design stages.
This Intermediate Land Development Engineer position combines project management with technical delivery for stormwater management and servicing work. You will prepare studies, undertake facility and channel modeling, write design documentation, and pursue agency approvals. The work also includes coordinating clients, conservation authorities, and government agencies while meeting schedules, managing budgets, and directing junior staff.
Key Responsibilities: Undertake stormwater management studies and detailed designs
Prepare servicing studies for secondary, draft, and site plans
Complete modeling for low impact development measures
Coordinate agency comments and approval requirements
Direct junior staff and manage project delivery
Requirements: At least four years of related land development engineering experience
Ontario Skilled Engineer or Civil Technologist registration eligibility
Experience with GTA servicing and stormwater approval processes
Software knowledge including Visual OTTHYMO, PCSWMM, or HEC-RAS
Ability to lead multidisciplinary teams and mentor staff
Bring stormwater design, project coordination, agency knowledge, and team leadership to land development engineering assignments.
