What We're Looking For
CPA designation preferred. Strong candidates without a designation will also be considered
3 to 4 years of relevant accounting experience, including month-end close and financial reporting
Experience in public practice or a client accounting services environment is an asset
Experience reviewing, supervising, or mentoring junior staff
Solid working knowledge of payroll, remittances, and GST/PST
Advanced working knowledge of online accounting, receipt-capture, and practice management software
Proven ability to coordinate multiple client deadlines and priorities
Explicit, professional written and verbal communication, with strong client service skills
Ability to work independently and stay connected with the team and clients, including when working remotely
Discretion with confidential client and financial information
What We Offer
Competitive salary aligned with experience and responsibilities
Comprehensive benefits package (medical, dental, and vision)
Summer hours: four-day work weeks with Fridays off
A collaborative team culture where connection and transparency matter
