Dura-Line, an Orbia Connectivity Solutions business, seeks a Journeyman Maintenance Electrician for 24-hour manufacturing operations. Reporting to the Maintenance Manager, you will support the Production Supervisor with maintenance matters. The schedule rotates across two weeks, with 4-and-3 shifts running 6:45 PM to 7:00 AM.
Key Responsibilities: Troubleshoot, repair, and maintain industrial electrical systems
Diagnose faults involving motors, VFDs, sensors, and starters
Maintain pneumatic, hydraulic, vacuum, and water systems
Perform preventative and predictive equipment maintenance
Respond to breakdowns and prioritize repairs
Requirements: Journeyman or Interprovincial Red Seal Electrician certification
Valid Class 5 driver's license
Read electrical schematics and understand the Electrical Code
Working knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel
Follow lockout/tagout and electrical safety procedures
Support Dura-Line production reliability overnight through electrical troubleshooting, preventive maintenance, and secure equipment repairs.
