Building operations, equipment servicing, and trouble-call response shape this temporary Maintenance Worker II opportunity with Edmonton Catholic Schools. Sites are located across Edmonton.
As part of Facility Services, you will maintain district property and mechanical systems. Duties include inspecting equipment, recording work, making minor repairs, and supporting plumbers, electricians, carpenters, and painters. The position requires independent judgment and compliance with established safety regulations.
Key Responsibilities: Check, adjust, lubricate, clean, test, and service equipment
Restore pumps and boilers when safe and practical
Perform minor repairs to doors, windows, tiles, and hardware
Report problems and recommend corrective actions to supervisors




Keep worksites, tools, and equipment secure and operational
Requirements: Several years recent experience in construction, maintenance, or plant operation
Required 4th Class Power Engineering or Building Operator A
Knowledge of Alberta Building Code and OHS regulations
WHMIS and TDG knowledge required
Strong problem-solving, time-management, and teamwork skills
Bring equipment servicing, troubleshooting, and building maintenance experience to Edmonton Catholic Schools’ Facility Services department.
