Deliver quality physiotherapy services in inpatient adult physical medicine, using assessment and treatment skills across Osler sites. Weekend coverage is required.
This Physiotherapist works with patients, families, and team members to support timely, appropriate discharges. The role reports to the Manager, Skilled Practitioner. It also collaborates with the clinical services manager and corporate physiotherapy team.
Key Responsibilities: Provide quality physiotherapy services to patients
Assess and treat patients with care teams
Prepare patients for timely, appropriate discharges
Educate patients, families, team members, and community partners
Follow Ontario physiotherapy standards and ethical requirements
Requirements: MSc or BSc in Physiotherapy or equivalent
Ontario registration in good standing
Recent inpatient adult physical medicine experience
Basic evidence-based medical and surgical practice knowledge
Excellent communication, critical thinking, and organizational skills
Apply physiotherapy expertise, patient education, and inter-professional collaboration across Osler’s inpatient adult care services and sites.
