The position supports Howe Sound Pulp and Paper through Domtar’s Mechanical Maintenance department. It suits a certified tradesperson with at least five years of industrial experience, including pulp and paper experience as an asset. The successful candidate will repair systems, interpret project documents, and work independently or collaboratively.
Key Responsibilities: Maintain water and waste disposal infrastructure
Install required piping system components
Troubleshoot system faults using diagnostic skills




Disassemble and reassemble components when needed
Work safely and efficiently during maintenance
Requirements: Valid Interprovincial Red Seal Journeyman certification
Pipefitter or Gasfitter qualification required
Five or more years of industrial experience
Blueprint and project specification reading ability
Effective communication and interpersonal skills
Apply certified journeyman expertise, system repair knowledge, and troubleshooting skills within Domtar’s Port Mellon maintenance operation.
