The Financial Analyst supports City departments through financial analysis, legislation interpretation, systems work, and reporting. Responsibilities span budgets, forecasts, audits, controls, business processes, and stakeholder consultation. Key Responsibilities: Lead annual budgets, forecasts, audits, and financial reporting
Evaluate contracts, business cases, variances, and operational performance
Optimize financial systems, applications, integrations, and processes
Advise management on controls, policies,



feasibility, and improvements
Prepare reports, projections, filings, and executive presentations
Requirements: Chartered Professional Accountant designation or equivalent education and experience
Five years of related accounting experience
Strong knowledge of generally accepted accounting principles
Experience with complex computerized financial applications
Ability to prepare financial reports and complex reconciliations
