As a Health and Safety Officer, you will oversee local workplace safety programs alongside construction and manufacturing activities. Key Responsibilities: Oversee workplace safety programs under WorkSafeBC requirements
Coordinate employee training, emergency preparedness, and first aid requirements
Support the Joint Occupational Safety and Health Committee




Review investigations and ensure corrective actions are completed
Partner with leadership to reinforce safety expectations
Requirements: Occupational health and safety, industrial hygiene, or related education
Three to five years' relevant occupational or industrial safety experience
Experience conducting audits, inspections, and risk assessments
Safety management systems and training records experience
Robust interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills
