VAI seeks Bus Inspectors with prior bus experience and working knowledge of buses. You will oversee manufacturing and testing against contract documents, policies, and U.S. federal and state regulations. The work includes functional testing, assembly inspections, contractor coordination, and acceptance support.
Key Responsibilities: Perform door, road, water, HVAC, and electrical functional testing
Inspect frames, vehicle assemblies, and electro-mechanical components
Review plans, drawings, procedures, and contractor work plans
Witness pre-delivery and acceptance tests




Prepare inspection reports, photographs, and electronic records
Requirements: Three or more years in quality assurance, maintenance, or bus manufacturing
High school diploma or DEC; some college preferred
Ability to interpret work instructions, drawings, and contract documents
Experience with wire routing, terminations, and manufacturing quality control
English and French proficiency with solid communication skills
