Critical care experience and advanced IV medication skills define this temporary part time Registered Nurse opportunity at WRHN @ Midtown.
As an Emergency Registered Nurse, you will assess adult and pediatric patients and contribute to protected departmental care. The position runs approximately until July 23, 2027, with ONA 2D2N hours. Candidates need at least one year in Emergency or critical care, plus demonstrated competency with cardiac rhythms, venipuncture, advanced IV administration, defibrillation, and pacing.
Key Responsibilities: Assess adult and pediatric Emergency Department patients
Administer advanced IV medications and special infusions
Perform venipuncture to initiate IV therapy




Apply energy through defibrillation and transthoracic pacing
Contribute to patient, staff, and visitor safety
Requirements: Current College of Nurses of Ontario Certificate of Competence
BCLS, ACLS, and PALS certification required
Minimum one year Emergency or critical care experience
Basic cardiac arrhythmia course competency
TNCC, ATLS, triage, physical assessment, or cardiac arrhythmia course
Use Emergency and critical care nursing competencies to support patients and multidisciplinary care at WRHN @ Midtown.
