Maintain clean, protected spaces for residents as a Housekeeper with The Salvation Army, using detailed cleaning, laundry, and infection control procedures.

This Housekeeper supports assisted and independent residents, families, and staff. The work includes apartment cleaning, common-area upkeep, laundry services, supply restocking, and preparing activity rooms. You will follow schedules, complete checklists, record cleaning rotations, and respond to unexpected housekeeping needs while maintaining professional confidentiality.

Key Responsibilities:

- Clean apartments, bathrooms, kitchens, carpets, windows, and blinds
- Maintain common-area laundry rooms, washrooms, carts, and storage spaces
- Wash, dry, fold, and return resident and environmental laundry




- Prepare activity rooms for meetings and social functions
- Follow infection control procedures and complete required checklists

Requirements:

- High school graduation and current WHMIS certificate
- Five years of housekeeping service experience preferred
- Current negative TB test and criminal record check
- Fluent English reading and writing skills
- Ability to lift 25 pounds and perform physical activities
