As a Healthcare Planner in Stantec’s Health Sector, you will support pre-design strategy and project delivery for major healthcare facilities. You will facilitate clinical visioning, develop functional programs, and translate operational needs into design strategies. The work spans acute care, ambulatory services, long-term care, and specialized facilities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support strategic healthcare planning for major healthcare projects
- Facilitate clinical visioning and consensus-building workshops
- Translate clinical needs into space requirements
- Develop master plans, business cases,
and functional programs
- Share healthcare planning innovations through industry forums
Requirements:
- Recent healthcare facility planning experience
- Understanding of functional programming and healthcare workflows
- Knowledge of Lean planning and CSA Z8000 compliance
- Robust communication, coordination, and leadership skills
- 10+ years of healthcare planning experience preferred
