As a Dietary Aide with Sienna Senior Living, you will support residents’ health and well-being through meal preparation and service. You will follow diets, preferences, portion sizes, and food safety procedures. The work also includes maintaining clean dining, preparation, dish room, and storage areas.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and serve meals and beverages for residents
- Follow resident diets, preferences, and proper portion sizes
- Take first and second menu choice orders
- Set, clear, wash, and sanitize dining areas
- Complete scheduled cleaning and assigned duties
Requirements:
- Current Safe Food Handler’s Certificate
- Knowledge of proper food service and handling procedures
- Ability to operate institutional cooking equipment
- Effective verbal and written English communication skills
- Successful Vulnerable Sector and Criminal Records Checks
