- Pay Rate: $ 95.00 – $105.00/hour, depending on experience
- Contract End Date: Start Date 12/01/2026 End Date 11/30/2027 (1 Year)

Raise is currently hiring an ITAM Specialist on behalf of our client. They’re expanding their team to meet growing needs, making this a unique opportunity to work with an industry leader. Our Client is a Canadian global leader in exploration, mine engineering, and environmental protection

Note: The primary pay rate is based on the rate for an incorporated contractor who owns their own business. However, we will also consider applications from candidates interested in a T4 arrangement, where applicable.

Description

The ITAM Specialist will provide technical expertise for the implementation and ongoing development of ServiceNow Software Asset Management Pro (SAM Pro). The role will focus on ensuring the technical configuration is fit for purpose, automating licence management processes, developing workflows and integrations, and providing technical SME support to the team managing software licences.

Responsibilities

- Design and configure ServiceNow SAM Pro capabilities to support software licence management.
- Develop automation and workflows for licence allocation, reclamation, optimisation and other lifecycle activities.
- Design and build software catalogue items, approvals and fulfilment workflows.
- Configure and troubleshoot SAM integrations and software data sources.
- Investigate backend configuration,



data and processing issues when SAM results are not working as expected.
- Support software normalization, reconciliation and compliance calculations.
- Provide technical SME guidance to team members configuring licences and entitlements.
- Recommend configuration improvements that simplify licence management and reduce manual effort.
- Support testing, deployment and documentation of new SAM functionality.

Qualifications

- Minimum 3 years of hands‑on experience with ServiceNow SAM Pro, including technical configuration and implementation.
- Experience configuring software models, entitlements, licence metrics and reconciliation.
- Solid experience with ServiceNow workflows, automation and catalogue configuration.
- Experience implementing and troubleshooting SAM integrations.
- Ability to investigate and troubleshoot ServiceNow configuration, data and backend processing issues.
- Strong understanding of software licensing and Software Asset Management practices.
- Ability to act as a technical SME, providing guidance to licence administrators and translating licensing requirements into ServiceNow configuration

- ServiceNow SAM professional Certification
