Manage venture portfolios for BDC’s Thrive Venture Fund, combining relationship management and strategic support with financial modeling expertise. Work within BDC’s hybrid model. This Principal role supports investments in women-led, high-growth Canadian technology companies. You will take responsibility for selected portfolio companies, monitor performance, and elevate critical issues to Partners. Your work includes governance, financing, strategic planning, introductions, and initiatives focused on exits. Key Responsibilities:

Maintain relationships with investee company executives Monitor selected companies and provide value-add support Participate in required portfolio company board meetings Support governance, financing,



and strategic planning Drive value-enhancing initiatives toward exits Requirements:

Seven to ten years of relevant skilled experience Ability to interpret financial statements into business insights Robust Excel modeling, sensitivity, and scenario analysis Clear, concise Investment Memo writing ability Cooperative relationship-building and coaching capabilities Apply portfolio management, financial analysis, and stakeholder leadership to support transformative investments through BDC Capital’s Thrive Venture Fund.
