This Electrician role at Maple Leaf Foods focuses on installing, troubleshooting, and repairing complex production equipment with minimum supervision. You will program and repair industrial automation, including PLCs, HMIs, and related devices. The work includes preventative maintenance, performance checks, and compliance with GMPs, HACCP, WHMIS, and health and safety requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
Install, troubleshoot, and repair complex production equipment
Program and repair PLCs, HMIs, and related devices
Identify mechanical and electrical problems
Participate in preventative maintenance procedures
Recommend and implement equipment performance improvements
Requirements:
Hold an electrician license
Bring manufacturing setting experience as an asset
Maintain a full complement of personal and qualified hand tools

Work independently with basic computer and communication skills
